Offering In-Person Lessons (Again)

August 30, 2020 – Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well. I’ve begun offering to move my private music students back to in-person lessons.

Here’s what that looks like:

During in-person lessons, I will wear a mask and social distance, as much as possible. The younger and/or beginner students require more of a steady “hands-on” approach and likewise, closer proximity when modeling proper playing technique.

My in-person private students are asked to wipe down and clean musical instruments prior to my arrival with a sanitizing wipe and keep air reasonably circulating during my relatively short 30-60 minute visit.

I wanted to offer my tutoring services to the rest of the community in case there are any other parents that want to continue (start) their children’s instrumental music education since our instrumental music program continues to be “suspended” for the rest of the 2020-2021 school year.

I teach all music instruments in both the String Orchestra and Band as well as Classical, Jazz and Electric guitar.

This is my 20th year teaching instrumental music in the Great Neck Public School system, 26th year in NYS education system and 38th year teaching privately.

Stay healthy and safe and let’s pray this global pandemic comes to an end soon!
